WARNING! Do not use the appliance if there is no water in the water tank. WARNING! Do not fill the measuring cup beyond the “115 ml” mark. Otherwise, the water tank may overflow. WARNING! The appliance must not be moved while it is in operation or while it still contains hot water. Allow the appliance to cool completely before moving it. WARNING! Risk of burns! Hot steam escapes from the outlet during operation. WARNING! Risk of burns! The appliance becomes very hot during operation. Do not remove the lid until the buzzer sounds. WARNING! Risk of burns! When removing the lid, pay particular attention to the hot steam escaping from the sides. Only touch the lid by the handles and allow the condensation to drain by tilting the lid. WARNING! Only use the appliance with cold, clear water, never with other liquids! NOTE: It is normal for there to be residual water in the water tank after boiling. Place the eggs on the egg holder and close the lid. The cooking time is not affected by the number of eggs being cooked. Make sure the control knob is set to “OFF.” Plug the appliance into the power supply. An audible signal will sound and the operating indicator light will flash briefly. Set the control knob to the position corresponding to the desired cooking level. The consistency of the eggs can still be adjusted between the different settings, according to your personal preferences. For example, you can set the control knob to a position between “hard-boiled” and “soft-boiled.” The operating light comes on and the appliance starts working. When the boiling process is complete, the appliance switches off automatically. An audible signal will sound several times and the operating light will flash. Turn the control knob back to the “OFF” position. The operating light will go out. Unplug the power cord. Remove the lid and the egg holder. Hold both parts only by the handles and be careful of the hot steam! Place the egg holder/lid on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Run the soft-boiled and hard-boiled eggs under cold water to stop the cooking process.
